Find
On the top left of the screen is the LOCATORS menu. From here you can perform some of the most common searches for things such as parcels, parks, schools, polling places, etc.
The “Parcel by Address” search is used to find a specific parcel in Bartlett and information pertaining to that parcel.
The results of all searches display in the Results window. Depending on what type of search you perform, several pieces of information about the items will be displayed. In the case of a parcel, it will show the property’s Parcel ID Number (or PIN), the school district and schools students living there would attend, election precinct and polling place, zoning classification, brush collection schedule and all of the taxing districts in which the parcel is located, such as Park District, Library District, etc.

To view the parcel that was found (or other feature that was searched for), on the map, you have two tools available located at the beginning of the row of information. The first tool that looks like a magnifying glass
, will zoom the map to the location of the results. The second tool that looks like a hand will center the map over the parcel (or feature) at the current zoom level
. This is useful if you have already set the map at a desired zoom level and do not want to change it. However, before you use either of these tools it is helpful to check the “Selected” check box. This highlights the parcel or feature.
